- Memberships are non-transferable
- Members are responsible for learning locations of all safety equipment/devices
- These include first aid stations, pay phones, beach safety equipment, etc.
- Maps are available upon request
- Use of the sign in/out logs is mandatory
- All traffic is one way around the park
- No speeding! Speed limit is 5 MPH
- Children should not be left unattended
- Children must be at campsite by dark
- Park in designated areas only
- Members are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and remove trash to designated areas
- No loud music
- No illegal drugs
- No nudity
- No profanity
- No discharge of firearms, hunting or trapping
- No glass bottles
- No stone throwing
- No bicycles in front of store or on store deck
- No skidding or sliding bicycles on stone road
- No unlicensed vehicles or underage drivers
- No riding outside of vehicles (hood, roof, bumper, etc.)
- No washing or repairing of vehicles
- All dogs must be licensed and on a leash
- Clean up after pets
- No pets on the beach
- No pets in the restrooms
- No ice fishing or winter activities
- Gravel Ponds is not responsible for theft, loss or damage of property
- Gate cards are for member use only
- Members are responsible for admitting their guests
- Entry gate is in operation from 5:30am to 10:00pm (permanent site campers have 24 hr. access)
- Exit gate is always in operation
- Local ambulance, fire and police departments have 24 hour gate access
- Fish with barb-less hooks and lures only
- Fishing is on a catch and release basis only
- No live bait, minnows or minnow traps allowed (worms are OK)
- No fishing in designated swimming areas
- No fishing out of paddle boats
- No adding of fish to ponds
- Swim in designated areas only
- All children must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older)
- No swimming in bad weather
- No swimming below 70 degrees
- No swimming after dark
- No scuba diving
- A complete set of rules for swimming is posted at each beach
- All boats are provided by Gravel Ponds only
- No boating after dark
- Life jackets/vests must be worn at all times
- Life jackets are not provided by Gravel Ponds but are available to rent
- Seat cushions are not an acceptable substitution for life jackets
- All boats are provided on a first come first serve basis (sharing is encouraged)
- Do not exceed the posted maximum number of passengers
- Boats must be clean and left upside down out of water
- Electric motors only, no gas powered motors
- Electric motors must be cleaned in chlorine dip prior to use
- Campsites are on a first come first serve basis
- Only one campsite per member (except holidays)
- No bon fires, camp fires only
- Camp fires in designated areas only
- No garbage (cans, bottles, etc.) in camp fires
- Pavilions are available on a first come first serve basis
- Any member can reserve a pavilion for their special event in advance
- Members are responsible for clean up
- Members are responsible for letting their guests into the park
- Any person found abusing or vandalizing Gravel Ponds property will be subject to having their membership revoked and be charged for the damages as provided by law.
- Anyone not obeying park rules will be subject to having their membership revoked.
